There is a route in Neuquén that combines the smells and flavours of its lands’ produce with an exciting palaeontological experience. Following this circuit, you can witness the traditional production of farms and the industrial production of wineries, visit palaeontological museums with their fossil replicas, and taste typical products and fine dishes.

As regards wines specifically, they are produced mainly in San Patricio del Chañar and its surroundings, and in the town of Añelo.
In this area, sandy and stony soils combine with a dry climate, moderate winds and a significant thermal range, which gives crops good health and an excellent acidity level.

Del Añelo, Del Fin del Mundo, NQN, Familia Schroeder, Valle Perdido, and Universo Austral are state-of-the-art, functional wineries, equipped with the latest technology and ready to receive tourists. Visitors can take guided tours, buy and try different wines and taste local dishes prepared by professional chefs.

All guided tours are done approximately every hour or hour and a half. They are free of charge, so visits should be coordinated.

The grape varieties grown are Chardonnay, Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc.
