Bienvenido al Área Natural Protegida Selva Triste. Es una reserva municipal de 10 ha, cuyo principal atractivo es la Laguna Verde, junto con la flora y la fauna del bosque Andino – Patagónico que la rodea.
En 1985 fue declarada Reserva Municipal (Ordenanza N° 229/85) y desde 2003 es el Área Natural Protegida «Selva Triste» (Ordenanza N° 1387/03), cuyo fin es conservar este ecosistema dentro del casco urbano de Villa la Angostura.
Actualmente, los gobiernos nacional, provincial y municipal han realizado la puesta en valor turístico del lugar, a través de la construcción de 378 m de pasarelas de madera, que permitirán realizar un circuito de 590 m, con cartelería y facilidades, tendiendo a la accesibilidad universal de manera progresiva.
Se trata de un recorrido con pendientes reglamentarias y sin obstáculos, en que la información se ofrece en forma escrita tradicional, en Sistema Braille y a través de la página web a la que se accede con códigos QR, ubicados en la parte inferior izquierda de los carteles interpretativos. En las barandas de las pasarelas hay placas con información en Sistema Braille sobre las cuatro estaciones de descanso y facilidades. Además, los íconos de referencia y recorrido del circuito están en relieve para personas con
discapacidad visual.
Este paseo se vive con los sentidos. Anímese a recorrerlo y disfrute la tranquilidad en las estaciones de descanso: Tierra, Aire, Agua y Fuego. Recuerde circular por la derecha y procure no hacer ruido, para no ahuyentar las aves ni molestar a los demás usuarios.

Welcome to Selva Triste Protected Natural Area. It’s a municipal reservation consisting of 10 hectares, whose main attraction is Laguna Verde (Green lagoon) along with the Andean-Patagonian forest’s flora and fauna that surrounds it. In 1985 it was declared a Municipal Reservation (Ordinance Nº 229/85) and from 2003 it’s Selva Triste Protected Natural Area (Ordinance Nº 1387/03), whose objective is to preserve this ecosystem within the urban area of Villa la Angostura city.
Currently, the national, provincial and municipal governments have been carrying out the enhancement of the tourist value of the place, through the construction of a 378-meter wooden walkways, which will allow for a 590-meter circuit, with signs and facilities, progressively tending towards universal accessibility.
It is a circuit with regulatory slopes and without obstacles, in which the information is offered in traditional written form, in the Braille system and through the official web page that is accessed through QR codes, located in the lower left part of the interpretive signs.
On the walkway railings there are plaques with information in the Braille system about the four rest stations and facilities. In addition, the circuit and reference icons are embossed for people with visual disabilities.
This stroll is experienced with the senses. Dare to go through it and enjoy the tranquility in the rest stations: Earth, Air, Water and Fire. Remember to walk on the right side and try not to make noise, so as not to scare away birds or disturb other users.
